Marvin Creek Makos Swim Team

We have a total of 9 meets this Summer!  

• 6 competitive swim meets. 3 home and 3 away. Meets are on Monday and Thursday evenings in June. 
• 1 Mock Swim Meet with only our team for time trials
• 1 Relay Carnival* - Relay only meet.
• 1 All Star Swim Meet* with multiple teams in the GCSL. The All Start Swim Meet will be Sunday, June 28 starting at 2pm.

Swimmers compete within their age group and boys/men and girls/ladies compete separately. Meets may start at 5pm or 6pm, with warm-ups staring 45 minutes before and meets should not last more than 3 hours.

* Simmer will participate in these meets by invite only. Most of the team will participate in these meets. 

The entire pool facility will be closed to the Marvin Creek community during our home meets, however, we welcome our neighbors to come and watch the meets and join in the fun!

New for Summer 2026 . . . GCSL division reorganization! Now all meets will be within in a 15 minute drive and with teams of similar size!

Team pictures will be taken before our Mock Meet on Monday, May 27th at 5pm and we would love for our entire team to be in the picture. We strongly encourage you to purchase a team and/or individual picture as a keepsake, as our photographers do not charge a fee to take our picture and rely on the sale of pictures to cover their time and costs. Order forms will be provided soon.

Our end of season celebration at the Marvin Creek Club House and Pool is planned for Thursday, June 25th from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Families are welcome to join for dinner, awards, and swimming. (Alternative Rain Date - Friday, June 26 from 5:00pm-8:00pm)
