Marvin Creek Makos Swim Team

Marvin Creek Makos Registration Fee:  

$150 per swimmer (Marvin Creek Residents)

• Registration opens April 1st. 
• The Marvin Creek Makos swimmer registration fee includes a t-shirt, swimmer cap and some swag donated by our sponsors.
• Payment of credit card or check made out to Marvin Creek Swim Team are accepted. Checks are to be mailed or delivered to Ruby Aggarwal, 2004 Wheatfield Drive, Marvin, NC 28173.  Please note, when paying by credit card, there will be a service fee of 2.9% + $0.30 for each transaction. Also, The Greator Charlotte Swim League is requiring an additioonal fee of $3.30 per swimmer.

Swim Suit and Caps:   We are asking all swimmers to purchase a Makos team swimsuit for meets. The team suit is the same as last year, a Sporti brand suit, exclusive to Swimoutlet.com, which is a quality and cost effective option for our team. Size information can be found online or you can visit local stores in the area that sell competition suits (Speedo, TYR, Dolphin) to try on for size.

For practice, you are welcome to wear your team suit or any swimsuit that is conducive for competition (one piece, no ruffles, stays on with diving and turns, etc).

Swim caps will be provided and should be worn at all meets and are recommended to be worn at all practices.

Towel and Goggles:   Swimmers are also responsible for their own towel and goggles. Speedo Vanquisher Mirrored googles, sporti mirrored googles or any other mirrored googles are recommended to help with the glare from the sun.

*Please be sure to place the swimmers name on their towel and googles, so they don’t ’swim’ away.  

Drinks Donation:  As part of your swimmer registration, you are required to donate drinks for our concession stand. Please donate the item below based on your last name (more than what is listed is always welcome). Please place your name on your donation, bring it to practice and give it to Gabby Raczynski. This is due on or before Friday, May 26th.

Last Name A-H:

12 pack (or larger) of Gatorade (G only - 12oz bottles)

Last Name I-M:

12 pack (or larger) of Soda (Coke, Sprite, Orange Soda and/or Diet Coke - 12 oz cans)

Last Name N-Z:

24 pack (or larger) of Bottled Spring Water (0.5L/16oz bottles)

Marvin Creek Pool Waiver and Release (digital form, fill out on computer)

The Marvin Creek HOA requires all Makos families to complete a pool waiver online before our first practice on May 19th.
